In 1982, Gail Spence decided that she wanted to open a Quilt Shop on the Family Farm. This Year, we celebrate 44 years of fun and fabric. It was important to Gail in 1982 to provide a beautiful selection of fabrics and offer great Customer Service. These values continue to be very important to us today.
Our Story
Located on the Family Farm just a few kilometers from Georgetown (Halton Hills) Ontario,
The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe is not your average Quilt Shop. Our renovated barn, that we like to call The Stable, is filled with beautiful fabric collections from far and wide. We carry a selection of books, patterns and notions that will fulfill every Quilter’s need.
At The Stable, we are known for our “Stable-Made” Kits for projects ranging in skill level and size. We pride ourselves on our standard of Customer Service that our knowledgeable Staff member provide to everyone who walks through our Doors.
