Our story
Country Patchworks Fabrics and Quilts of Woodstock, Ontario was established in the Fall of 2004. I am a brick and mortar shop plus you can shop our online store. We have a wonderful selection of fabrics, threads, patterns/books, notions and kits. With over 2000 bolts, we offer an extensive collection of cottons perfect for all types of quilters. I have over 40 years of expertise in quilting knowledge that I pass down to students in our quilting classes.
Our in-store experience offers classes, Eddycrest Sewing Furniture as well as Pfaff sewing machine sales and service by our in-house Pfaff trained technician. We are the home of the Eddycrest Sewing Furniture since 2009 when the 1st sewing cabinet was designed for me! I am the proud Momma of the designer!!
Our history
I started the store for new chapter in my life. I have been a quilter since the early 80's and when a job loss happened a wonderful opportunity to start a business, doing something I had a passion for quilting. So we renovated and made the store! I have awesome dedicated talented staff to help you to shop and create beautiful projects.
Services
We offer a range of services from beginner quilting classes to more advanced classes. We sell and service PFAFF sewing machines. I host a very popular annual retreat every fall. We also offer Long Arm quilting service by Bonnie Wilson Old School Machine Quilting. We are one of the original stores of the July Shop Hop. We also host Crazy 8 Barn Quilt classes.
Classes
We offer inspirational quilting classes. BOM classes are very popular. Beginner to Advanced classes.
Eddycrest Sewing Furniture
Eddycrest Sewing Furniture is designed and built by my Son Adam and his team. You are able to see different models on display in the store.
PFAFF Sewing Machines & Service
PFAFF machines are on site and ready to purchase from Linda's Machine Nook. PFAFF sewing machines repaired by qualified, certified PFAFF technician on-site.
