What is the July Shop Hop?

The July Shop Hop is a month-long quilting adventure! Visit participating quilt shops throughout July, collect stamps and free quilt blocks. Enjoy a fun reason to travel, stitch, and shop local.

When does the July Shop Hop take place?

The event runs July 2–31, 2026

How do I participate?

Simply stop by any participating shop to get started. Each shop will explain how stamps or check-ins work and what they’re offering for the Shop Hop. No pre-registration required—just show up and have fun!

Is there a passport or map?

Yes! All shops will offer a printed passport in-store. Pick one up at your first stop.

Do I have to visit every shop?

Not at all! Visit as many or as few shops as you like. Every stop is its own experience.

Are there prizes?

During the July Shop Hop, participants have lots of chances to win!

  • 13 × $100 Shopping Sprees
    Visit all 13 participating shops to be entered.

  • 26 × $50 Shopping Sprees
    Visit at least 9 participating shops to be entered.

  • Bonus Draws
    At each participating location, enter to win one of two gift baskets filled with delightful quilting treasures and surprises.

  • NEW - Junior Stitcher Award (Under 18)  A special youth prize for participants under 18, created to celebrate young stitchers, creators, and budding quilters. We love seeing the next generation share their creativity!

More stops = more chances to win… and more inspiration along the way!

Do I need to make a purchase?

Purchases are not required to participate, but trust us—there will be plenty of tempting fabric, kits, and inspiration along the way

What if a shop has limited hours?

Each shop sets its own hours. Please check individual shop listings or their social media pages before you travel to avoid disappointment.

Is this event family-friendly?

Yes! Quilters of all ages are welcome. It’s a relaxed, self-paced event designed to be fun and welcoming.

What happens if I can’t travel or miss a stop?

No worries at all—this Shop Hop is meant to be a delight, not a dash. Visit what you can, when you can. And if you don’t collect every block, those lovely bits are still perfect for stitching up table runners, tote bags, and other charming projects.
