Passing the Batting Baton
The Next Stitch: From ABQ Sewing Studio to The Wobbly Bobbin
Our Roots & Heritage
The shop’s journey began in 2018, originally founded by pattern designer Brenda Miller of Among Brenda’s Quilts. What started as a quiet creative space for Brenda to write her world-renowned patterns quickly blossomed into a vibrant, full-service quilt shop. As the community grew, so did the business; four years ago, the studio expanded and moved from its original home on Thomas Street to our current, spacious location here at 15 Centre St. W., Strathroy, Ontario to better serve our wonderful makers.
A New Chapter Begins!
On May 1, 2026, the baton was officially passed!
Heather Cousins is thrilled to introduce The Wobbly Bobbin Sewing Studio. While Heather is bringing a fresh, youthful energy to the shop, our heart remains the same. We are still your home for personalized care, expert advice, and that warm "small-town" welcome you’ve come to love.
