A Dream Come True......
A dream of opening a sewing shop started in the early 90's. It stayed in the back of my mind throughout my customer service career. I wish I could recall the idea/moment/notion that said I needed to learn how to quilt, I am forever grateful for whatever it was, and in 2009 I jumped all in to the quilting world. A fork in the road of life led me to put my skills to the test. Up Yur Quilt started in 2020 as an online store and as covid wound down we revved up at our brick and mortar in 2021. We celebrated four years in November and are hoping for many more in the years to come!
Our Passion
Up Yur Quilt, located in the Henley Square Plaza is a full-service fabric and quilting supply store. The shop serves both local walk-in customers and online visitors, offering an extensive selection of high-quality quilting fabrics, patterns, notions, books and more.
In addition to retail goods, Up Yur Quilt places strong emphasis on community and education: we run a robust calendar of classes and events for quilters of all skill levels — from beginner-friendly bag-making and binding classes to intermediate/advanced quilting courses and “projects in progress” sewing sessions. The shops goal is to help quilters “find all the inspiration and supplies … for your next masterpiece.” With a warm, supportive atmosphere and a mix of product, expertise and community engagement, Up Yur Quilt positions itself as a go-to destination for anyone who loves fabric, sewing and quilting.”
